A Banarasi saree is a sari made in Varanasi, an ancient city which is also called Benares. The saris are among the finest sarees in India and are known for their gold and silver brocade or zari, fine silk and opulent embroidery. The saree is made of finely woven silk and are decorated with intricate design, and, because of these engravings, are relatively heavy.
This dark teal saree with resham motifs is Pure handloom banarasi silk with "Silk Mark Certified". It has golden border and pallu with beautiful resham work. This elegant garment is most suited for Festivals, Parties and Weddings. It's best styled with gold or diamond jewellery . The blouse, petticoat and jewellery worn by the model are not included. However, a running blouse piece is a part of the saree.
Care instructions: The saree is made using natural dyes and extracts. Variations in weave texture, colours and print may occur in hand-made products. Irrespective of fabric type, we would recommend that you dry clean only.
