Description

A Banarasi saree is a sari made in Varanasi, an ancient city which is also called Benares. The saris are among the finest sarees in India and are known for their gold and silver brocade or zari, fine silk and opulent embroidery. The saree is made of finely woven silk and are decorated with intricate design, and, because of these engravings, are relatively heavy.

This  bright pink saree with zari motifs  is Pure handloom banarasi  silk with "Silk Mark Certified". It has  golden border and pallu with beautiful zari work. This elegant garment is most suited for Festivals, Parties and Weddings. It's best styled with gold or diamond jewellery . The blouse, petticoat and jewellery worn by the model are not included. However, a running blouse piece is a part of the saree.

Care instructions: The saree is made using natural dyes and extracts. Variations in weave texture, colours and print may occur in hand-made products. Irrespective of fabric type, we would recommend that you dry clean only.

The model wearing this saree is  5'6" height

Slight colour may vary due to camera photography.

Care Guide

Always dry wash your silk and linen sarees.
Never hand-wash or machine-wash your silk or linen saree.
In case the saree gets stained, immediately wipe the stain off with cold water.
Store the saree in a light cotton muslin cloth. This will give the saree breathing space and will prevent one saree from sticking to another when kept in a pile.
Don’t store the saree in a plastic cover as this will cause the gold embroidery to turn black.
