Description

This magenta pink tant  saree, originating in Bengal, is made using the purest handloom cotton fabric. Not only does the body of the saree feature a self design that lends the otherwise light fabric opacity, the pallu and border are laden with intricate designs prominently featuring the fish motif in black,  Tassels in the same colour combination line the edge of the pallu. This saree, especially in this particular colour combination, is an ideal representation of Bengali culture. Best styled with yellow gold filigree ornaments, the saree is most suited for daytime events or 'pandaal hopping' during Durga Puja. The material is light and breathable without being overly transparent. The blouse and petticoat worn by the model are not included. However, a running blouse piece is.

Care instructions: The saree is made using natural dyes and extracts. Variations in weave texture, colours and print may occur in hand-made products. Irrespective of fabric type, we would recommend that you dry clean only.

The model wearing this saree is  5'6" height

Slight colour may vary due to camera photography.

Care Guide

Always dry wash when washing for the first time. Subsequent washes maybe either hand wash or dry wash. Do not machine wash.
Use only a mild detergent.
Do not wring it vigorously; instead, hang it for a while to allow the excess water to drain off. Always starch cotton sarees after wash to retain their brightness.
Dry the washed saree in a shaded area. Avoid direct sunlight so that colors do not fade.
