Description & Specifications

The word ‘jamdani’ is believed to be of Persian origin, derived from 'Jam' (meaning flower) and 'Dani' (meaning vase). Over the last few decades, the art of jamdani weaving has witnessed a revival due to support from the governments and non-government organizations in both India and Bangladesh. Jamdani was originally known as Dhakai named after the city of Dhaka.

This White and orange quality cotton cloth with orange and green leaf motifs is quite the showstopper.  The saree is most suitable for informal daytime events. It will look graceful when styled with white beaded/Pearl jewelry. Best draped loosely. The blouse and petticoat worn by the model are not included. This Saree is without a blouse piece.

Care instructions: The saree is made using natural dyes and extracts. Variations in weave texture, colours and print may occur in hand-made products. Irrespective of fabric type, we would recommend that you dry clean only.

The model wearing this saree is  5'6" height

Slight colour may vary due to camera photography.
