A Banarasi saree is a sari made in Varanasi, an ancient city which is also called Benares. The saris are among the finest sarees in India and are known for their gold and silver brocade or zari, fine silk and opulent embroidery. The saree is made of finely woven silk and are decorated with intricate design, and, because of these engravings, are relatively heavy.
This Maheshwari blend golden magenta pink soft silk banarasi saree with green border. This Banarasi saree has been designed with zari motifs on its soft silk fabric. The Banarasi silk saree has got a dark pink zari woven Pallu, which gives the saree a rich appearance.
