This effortlessly chic free-size un-stitched ikat-printed dress material in yellow and orange, comprising fabric for a kurta, bottom and dupatta, would be a great outfit for everyday wear. The finished kurta's front will feature an all-over design of Pochampally ikat print. Pochampally Ikat's uniqueness lies in the transfer of intricate design and colouring onto warp and weft threads first and then weaving them together. This technique is known as double ikat.
The dupatta, in a light soft cotton fabric in orange with yellow designs all over. The fabric for the bottom, in orange, has been left plain.
The finished garment will be most suited for semi-formal occasions and is best styled with oxidised silver jewellery.
