Description

Murshidabad silk sarees have a soft, smooth texture and easy to drape. Murshidabad is known for producing these silk sarees which are not only beautiful but are manufactured with high quality fabric. These Hand Block Printed and Hand Painted Silk Sarees are considered to be items worthy of the best wardrobes.

Batik is a type of resist-printing process in which wax is applied to the fabric in specific areas, as a print. When the wax hardens, the fabric is submerged in dye. The fabric is then boiled to remove the wax. The technique not only renders the intended design's print but also a rustic crinkled print effect, owing to the colour seeping into the cracks in the wax during the dye process.

This saree is in orange with dark chocolate and white hand batik printed.

Care instructions: The saree is made using natural dyes and extracts. Variations in weave texture, colours and print may occur in hand-made products. Irrespective of fabric type, we would recommend that you dry clean only.

The model wearing this saree is  5'6" height

Slight colour may vary due to camera photography.

Care Guide

Always dry wash your silk and linen sarees.
Never hand-wash or machine-wash your silk or linen saree.
In case the saree gets stained, immediately wipe the stain off with cold water.
Store the saree in a light cotton muslin cloth. This will give the saree breathing space and will prevent one saree from sticking to another when kept in a pile.
Don’t store the saree in a plastic cover as this will cause the gold embroidery to turn black.
